3M™ 8403 polyester tape is a thicker polyester tape that is easy to use and more durable. It is ideal for shielding at high temperatures, and it adheres well to the surface of the silicone coating.
The tape has excellent chemical resistance and can work effectively under some rather severe operating conditions (such as anodizing). Pressure-sensitive silicone adhesives work well in a wide temperature range from -60°F (-50°C) to 425°F (218°C).
3M™ 8403 polyester tape has a long service life, and can maintain firm adhesion and flexibility.
